Maybe you want to get into SUP but don't know where to start or what to buy? Join us for one of our Paddleboard Experience sessions and we will answer all! Our experienced team will guide you through how to get started and we will have you up and paddling in no time!
Tried SUP before? Didn't quite get on with it? With the ever accelerating popularity of SUP, there is an ever growing number of low quality and low performance boards hitting the market all the time! For a lot of people, they won't make much of a difference, but for some people, the wrong board can make getting started hugely difficult! At Jurassic Watersports, we have a brand new fleet of 10’10 Tiki Stowaways. These are a high quality board from a highly reputable manufacturer. The 10’10 size also means they offer increased buoyancy and stability, making this amazing sport more accessible.

Open sessions have always been the core of our activities at Jurassic Watersports. Quite simply, we offer a session date with 10 spaces, you book 2, a group of friends book 4 and a family books 4. We then bring the 10 of you together to create a group to take part in your session together. These kinds of sessions are great when booking for 1 - 4 people as paying out for a private session as such a small group works out costly! We will be offering limited dates for these ‘open’ SUP sessions in 2023, so get in touch if you would like help arranging a session. Our Private sessions offer greater flexibility over available dates, so if you are struggling to find a date that works, take a look at them as an option!
*Open sessions usually range from 6 - 10 people, 14+

Our Private sessions offer you the opportunity to experience our awesome Activities, surrounded by only you and your Friends and Family! These kinds of sessions are popular with families and stag & hen groups alike. We know payment for sessions like these can be a pain with numbers changing all the time! To make it simple, our payment structure is a set £250 per group of 10. For groups of 10+, please get in touch to confirm prices. Private sessions also offer greater flexibility over available dates.

But what you dont get from going to those places is coaching, tips from properly qualified instructors or impartial, professional advice from experts. But that is exactly what you do get from us! We focus our sessions not on just jumping on and seeing what happens, but learning the key tips to paddling successfully and how to avoid wasting money on one of the 1000s of SUPs on the market now, that although look like a great price, there is always a reason for that! (Just cause someone on facebook says they brought a board for £150 and its “amazing”, doesn't meant they know what they are talking about!)

Paddleboarding around Swanage and Studland is pretty damn good, but we know sometimes you are looking to make more out of an activity and build an activity day or even adventure weekend. We can help with that! As you’ve probably read already, out team are professionals at planning and going on adventures! So coming up with ways to make our activities even better was easy. We just ask ourselves…”what would we do?”. This is what we came up with:
- Paddleboarding & SUP combi sessions
- Old Harry SUP Tours
- Tailored guided trips
- 1:1 Coaching

GoPro Only - We will deploy two of our 4k GoPros, 1 will be placed on one of your helmets and record the duration of your session, the other will be manned by one of your Leaders who know how to get the best shots! After your session, receive the full raw footage.
GoPro & Photographer - Everything in the GoPro package plus we will deploy one of our team with a high quality DSLR in waterproof housing to get all the awesome shots! After your session, you will receive a copy of all footage and photos.
Full Package with Editing - All of the above plus an editing package including two cut together videos. 1 short optimised for Social Media ‘Reels’, as well as 1 full length video of your experience.

Our private sessions also offer more flexibility regarding dates.
All our Paddlesport now takes place at Knoll Beach in Studland. On site the National Trust have Toilets and a Caffe. We recomend arriving ready to go out on the water as it is a bit of a time consuming walk to head over to the toilets to change!
A pair of shoes to wear in the water, and wear something you don't mind getting wet....because you probably will!
You will be wearing a Buoyancy Aid at all times when in the water, but it does helps if you're confident in the water.
The online system will send out an automatic confirmation with instructions on what you need to do. If you can’t find the confirmation email, please do check your spam/junk folder as we do some times end up in there! If you still can see anything, please email us at info@jurassicwatersports.co.uk and we will endeavour to re send.

We are open 7 days a week, if there is no time slot available that suits you, contact us at info@jurassicwatersports.co.uk and we will see if we can accommodate.
Session times are usually:
09:30 - 11:0, 11:30 - 13:00, 13:30 - 15:00, 15:30 - 17:00
There are no strict minimum or maximum number rules, however we not be able to run sessions that are not cost effective. Group sizes can vary, but are no more then 10.
Want a smaller group? Why not book a private session?
You're already getting wet right?What's a bit of rain between Adventures? We try our best not to cancel any sessions but sometimes the great British weather has other ideas! If a session is cancelled by us we will look at rescheduling you in when convenient for you.
SUP is a very physically demanding Adventurous Activity. For our open sessions we ask all participants are over the age of 14.
We are however able to offer sessions for participants between the ages of 8 - 14. If you would like to book for child aged between 8 - 14, please get I touch with us and we will see what we can arrange!
We are licenced by the HSE (AALA) to work with under 18s.
