At Jurassic Watersports we are supported by 40 years of combined outdoor instructor knowledge. Amongst the team we cover almost all areas of the outdoor world. From highly qualified Sailing Instructors, Powerboat Instructors, Paddlesport Coaches and Coasteering Leaders, to qualified Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking and Navigation Instructors. We even have some Surfers and Divers in the mix! Whatever your poison, whatever Adventure you have in mind, we can help!

Kelvin is one of two partners that started Jurassic Watersports back in 2017. Kelvin has worked in Watersports and Outdoor Ed for somewhere in the region of 15 years. Throughout that time working in every role from being an Apprentice Instructor, to being the Centre Manager of a company that was one of the biggest outdoor centres in the county. Kelvin has picked up a wide array of outdoor experience and qualifications including being a British Canoeing Level 2 Coach, Rock Climbing Instructor, Coasteering Leader, Duke of Edinburgh Award Supervisor/Assessor, Hill and Moorland Leader, Surfer, Diver and much, much more. All of this 15 years+ experience is there to support you with any activity or kit related questions!

Chris is the other partner in Jurassic Watersports. Starting JW was a way of Chris jumping back into watersports after a brief time away. Like Kelvin, Chris also worked in every role from being a weekend helper to being Centre Management. Having worked alongside Kelvin at their previous Outdoor Centre, he jumped at the chance when Kelvin pitched the idea for them to start their own Outdoor Company. Chris has been in and around Watersports for over 15 years. Like Kelvin, Chris has also picked up a large array of experience and qualifications throughout his time in the Outdoors, including also being a British Canoeing Level 2 Coach, Coasteering Leader and Duke of Edinburgh Award Supervisor/Assessor.

Jordan also worked alongside Kelvin and Chris for many years. Jordan is the youngest member of the team, but still has almost 7 years of Outdoor Instructor experience. Just like Kelvin and Chris, Jordan has still worked in every position from being work experience at an Outdoor Centre, to being an apprentice and up to being Centre Management. Again, just like Kelvin and Chris above, Jordan has accumulated a large array of outdoor experience and Qualifications including being a Rock Climbing Instructor, Coasteering Leader, Hill and Moorland Leader, Duke of Edinburgh Supervisor/Assessor, Rescue Diver and more. Jordan has been unofficially involved with JW from the beginning, but has now been officially brought onboard to setup and manage our new Shop. Again, all this experience is there for you if you have any questions about your next kit purchase or activity experience.

TeamJW Ambassadors are, at their core, members of the team. Each Ambassador is recruited because of their specialist set of skills and knowledge of a specific activity. Their role is to increase the visibility of our Shop, Outdoor Equipment Specialists and show you just how awesome our products are! Our Ambassadors are true blood and sweat outdoors people! They are the sort that are always out and about, doing what they do best. They are all awesome Outdoor Instructors that we have chosen to test, review and demo our products specially for you!

Jake is a long-standing friend of the Jurassic Watersports Team. A Multi-Activity Instructor, Mountain Bike Maestro and Coach. Jake is a keen Enduro Racer, usually out on the trails or seeking out other adventures, whether in the Mountains or on the Water. Jake is a Qualified British Canoeing Level 2 Paddlesports Coach, British Cycling Level 2 Mountain Bike Coach and a wide source of knowledge when it comes to all things Biking or Paddling, so feel free to reach out to him for any technical or equipment advice! Jake is joining TeamJW as the first of our shop Ambassadors. Basically, he gets to take loads of free kit out Biking and Racing, testing kit and making sure our range of Mountain Bike products are up to standard. Based on Exmoor and working as a Coach and Guide alongside his Racing, Jake is in the perfect position to be able to rigorously test everything we send his way and provide honest, educated feedback for you!
